SMS Program & Opt-In

Last Updated: June 20, 2026

Program summary. Recevi LLC, operating on behalf of its business clients (for example, "Mike's Plumbing"), sends transactional appointment text messages — appointment confirmations, reminders, and related follow-ups. Message frequency varies, up to approximately 5 messages per month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. No mobile information or SMS opt-in data is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Opt in to appointment text messages

Consent to receive these text messages is voluntary and is never a condition of any purchase, service, or account. The box below is unchecked by default. You may opt in here on the web, or verbally during a phone call (both methods are described below).

How end users opt in

Recevi supports the following opt-in paths. Each opt-in applies only to the transactional appointment SMS program described on this page and is not transferable to any other program or campaign.

1. Web opt-in

An individual enters their mobile number on this page and checks the unchecked consent checkbox above to agree to receive transactional appointment text messages.

2. Verbal opt-in during an inbound call

When an individual calls a Recevi-powered business phone line and the AI agent helps them book an appointment or capture their information, the agent asks explicitly: "Would you like a confirmation text with the appointment details?" If the caller agrees, the agent confirms the destination phone number — either the caller ID of the inbound call, or a different number the caller explicitly provides and verbally confirms — and reads the number back before sending. SMS is sent only after this explicit confirmation. The call is recorded as proof of consent and the recording is retained for not less than five years.

SMS privacy disclosures

This section is part of, and is consistent with, the Recevi Privacy Policy.

No sharing of SMS data. No mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent records are excluded from all data-sharing arrangements described in our Privacy Policy and will not be shared with any third party under any circumstances, including in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, except where compelled by law.

What we collect for SMS. When you opt in, we collect your mobile number and a record of the fact, date, and method of your consent. We use this only to send the transactional appointment messages described above and to honor your opt-out and help requests.

Consent is separate and voluntary. SMS consent is kept separate from our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, is never required to make a purchase or use any service, and any consent checkbox is unchecked by default. We do not enroll you in any other messaging program based on a single opt-in.

Retention. We retain SMS consent records for not less than five years to demonstrate TCPA compliance (and ten years for Virginia residents as required by state law).
